We have one of the largest expanses of water in the south of England with clear air and easy launching and we are conveniently located just off the A34, 10 minutes away from Oxford town centre.
Farmoor Reservoir offers a venue which is suitable for both sailors and windsurfers, our regular racing has 5 separate starts and we offer club racing every weekend and from the Spring through to the Autumn we also race during the week.
If you are a total beginner or want to brush up your skills we offer RYA courses which run throughout the summer, we have boats and boards for hire to club members and our Learn to Race courses are always popular. If you feel the need for a more mechanical approach to your water based activities we offer powerboat safety courses to help with proficiency in rescue and safety on the water.
For those people who prefer to watch sailing from the comfort of a dry shore the reservoir offers many other attractions such as extensive bird watching facilities and easy walking/rambling routes (details of these activities can be found here). We also have a children’s play area adjacent to our clubhouse’s excellent canteen and bar facilities.
