We are hosting one of our biggest events ever, on 12 and 13 July. The Nationwide series is the premier Topper event and up to 200 boats are expected. Whilst preparations are well-advanced, we are looking for volunteers to help us over the weekend – mainly shore-based.
We need two people per day directing traffic and reminding parents to move cars to the car park when they have finished unloading, handing out parking permits etc, as well as acting as liaison between the RIB crews and the results service. The beach party will be the sailors’ parents. We have RIB drivers but could also do with more crews – it would be a distinct advantage to have a Level 2 powerboat qualification.
