Windsurfing
Enjoy some of the best windsurfing conditions in central england at Farmoor reservoir. With one of the largest areas of water in central England, you will have a good stretch of water to blast about in. The conditions suit beginners right through to expert: When the wind whips in from the West you'll get a decent breeze and some chop to practise jumps and other moves whilst those light warm summer days produce a very safe learning environment.
There is a growing windsurfing membership and the atmosphere is very friendly, relaxed and helpful. If you are in to racing, there is an evening race series going on all though the Summer months and also occasional slalom racing when the wind gets up.
There is also a thriving Team 15 (youth) windsufing group at the club - more to follow on this later on in the year.
